The next addition to the Train Sim World: Cargo Line series will be making its way to you very soon!

This has been in the works for a little while now, but we’re thrilled to announce that TSW 5: Cargo Line Vol. 3 – Intermodal is coming.

In this edition, we’re adding a brand new FCA Intermodal Spine Wagon in EWS maroon livery! The wagon consists of a main spine with multiple container locking points between two wheeled bogies. Conventional draw gear and buffers are located at one end, with a permanent connecting bar at the other for linking with a twin. These particular wagons feature dynamic container loading, so no two trains are the same.

Back in the 1990s, EWS invested heavily in new wagons after taking control of the UK freight sector following privatisation. The introduction of the FCA into one of the strongest freight markets in UK rail was highly successful in transforming the capacity of what EWS could offer!

Cargo Line Vol. 3 will also include a Class 66 Diesel Locomotive, which has been modelled to a standard DB Cargo specification in all over DB red and grey livery (DBC).

Cargo Line Vol. 3 comes equipped with a selection of new scenarios & services for WCML: London Euston to Milton Keynes and ECML: Peterborough to Doncaster. Additional timetable services will also be added to the Midland Main Line in a coming update! Also, the pack features additional support for Train Sim World 5 Creators Club with Livery Designer, Scenario Planner & Formation Designer compatibility, so you can create your own gameplay experience!
