TSW 5: Quality of Life Update – June 2025

A new update is coming to several Skyhook Games TSW packs!

We’re pleased to share the details of a new ‘Quality of Life’ update which will be rolling out next week! Coming in this new patch, we have multiple fixes/improvements for:

Cargo Line Vol. 1 – Petroleum:

  • Implemented latest suspension setup on the Class 66 locomotive
  • Removed scenario formations from appearing in other gameplay modes due to incompatibility
  • Improved support for Free Roam and Formation Designer features
  • Updated bogie and axle data to improve ride height of Class 66 when coupled to other vehicles

Cargo Line Vol. 2 – Aggregates:

  • Added suspension to Class 66 loco.
  • Added both loaded and empty variants of the HOA bogie aggregate hopper to the Formation Designer.
  • Updated Class 66 bogie and axle offsets to reduce buffer height differences when coupled to other vehicles.

Cargo Line Vol. 3 – Intermodal:

  • Fixed a crash in Editor when entering the livery designer menu.

Cargo Line Vol. 4 – Military:

  • Fixed Military layer not to appearing on GWE timetable for Gen 8 consoles.
  • Fixed missing timetable service in WCML: Preston Carlisle journey mode.

Midland Main Line:

  • Fixed interior vestibule doors never closing once opened on the Class 158
  • Removed East Midlands Railway signage from Derby station platform 4/5 lounge doors

Cane Creek Railroad:

  • Implemented Train Sim World 5 track shadow improvement

Horseshoe Curve:

  • Implemented Train Sim World 5 track shadow improvement

ScotRail – Class 158:

  • Fixed an issue with vehicles being embedded in buildings at Haymarket Depot on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Sprinter timetable.
  • Fixed service 5K11 ECS to Haymarket on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Sprinter timetable requiring player stop accuracy to be precise.
  • Improved support for Free Roam consist placement and Formation Designer.
