Level 1 - The Office
The annual Skyhook Christmas Do kicked off with our Secret Santa gift exchange! It was so much more fulfilling to be able to pass on these gifts in person. Due to restrictions, we had to mail the gifts last year, just not the same is it? There’s nothing quite like seeing the reaction of the one you have gifted the present to!
We also had the chance to congratulate one of our Artists, Lewis McDonough on 5 years at Skyhook! Congratulations Lewis, great to have you on the team!
As the remainder of the team filtered into the office, we cracked open some beers and kept our fingers crossed that our World Cup predictions came in!
Level 2 - ArCains
The evening began at Arcains Liverpool! The team spent the first couple of hours putting their skills to the test with group sessions of MarioKart, Guitar Hero, Punching Machines and so on. Some opted for a chilled out approach, favouring a dose of nostalgia for their beloved games. Some chose the alternative, high focus, tactical and competitive activities! Moments of extreme highs which could all come crashing down at any moment! Those who have been green shelled with the finish line in sight will know exactly what I mean…
As our time here grew shorter, we settled down and took to the Pool tables and Shuffleboards. A calming end to an extremely enjoyable visit!

Level 3 - Food Time!
Sadly, the time came to put down the controllers and begin our long voyage down the road, Love Lane Brewery awaits! It may only be early December but it’s not too early for a Christmas Dinner right? We can’t thank the staff enough for their excellent hospitality and wonderful food.
Usually this is where most people leave the rest of the night to the wild ones. Not this time, most carried on further into the night (and morning) but let’s not delve into that, but here’s two words that lead us further down that path “Beer Pong”! Let’s leave the rest ambiguous.

This was a fitting way to cap off what has been an amazing year for Skyhook. It’s always a pleasure to see so many faces all together in person, instead of virtually. Here’s to a very exciting 2023!
