New to LMS, the Patterson ZTA-XL mower!

The new zero-turn mower, the Patterson ZTA-XL, has been built with the massive new contracts included in the Heritage Park DLC arriving this summer. Featuring a 145cm (57″) wide deck and a 26.8hp engine, this mower boasts more speed & power than any other piece of equipment in Lawn Mowing Simulator! Bigger contracts require a fearsome piece of machinery, the Patterson ZTA-XL is just that!

The story behind the ZTA-XL!

The idea was to take the Patterson ZTA, and take it up a notch with the following improvements:

• Wider deck
• Extra front wheels
• Updated seat
• Updated engine bay to appear more powerful
• Addition of a ROPS (Roll over protection system)
• Updated materials

Alongside that, the stats would be improved to further enhance performance!

That’s not all, there’s a great story behind the Patterson brand. Here’s what Skyhook’s Game Director told us:

“So, we had Knight, which was the British brand. I wanted that one to feel royal in some way, and chose the name Knight because it was my stepdad’s surname, he had passed away around that time.

But Patterson, we knew that was going to be a more rugged, American-engineered brand. I wanted an outdoorsy name that sounded kind of rugged, like it could be the name of the family that made them. So far, so normal.

But I actually got the name Patterson from watching a documentary on Bigfoot. The most famous alleged footage is the Patterson Film, which was shot by a guy named Roger Patterson in some rugged part of the US. I thought it was perfect, I even wanted to try and get a Bigfoot into the logo, but I was talked out of that.”
