this week we welcomed matthew to the skyhook studio! we sat down with him to find out how he enjoyed his week with us!

How have you found your week at Skyhook Matthew?

Throughout the week I learned a lot! Both with the project I was given and the conversations I had with the team. Overall, it has been a worthwhile and enjoyable experience!

How has your time helped you?

I have a better understanding of the different tasks the staff perform; I was shown their work and have developed a better understanding of the professional workflow.

Additionally, they helped me with my project and gave really good advice on how to improve it further.

Was there any aspect of your learning you particularly enjoyed?

I enjoyed working on my project and learning new skills as I went along. It was also interesting finding out about the staff and their experiences in the industry. Seeing what they are working on and the techniques they use. I particularly enjoyed sitting with the Technical Artists. I found their work extremely interesting, and it was great to see how they go about creating games from the ground up.

It’s been a great week. I’ve learned a lot and I’m sure what I’ve learned here will be very useful to me going forward.
