Congratulations to our new Women in Games Ambassador!

We are delighted to announce that our HR Manager Susan Burns has been confirmed as a Women in Games ambassador! All of the Skyhook Games team are thrilled that Susan’s hard work and dedication has been recognised further.

WIGJ is a not for profit organisation that seeks a games industry, community and culture free from gender discrimination. Susan has already worked with schools, colleges and universities throughout the surrounding area. Her work has offered a pathway for people to get their foot in the door of the industry, as well as developing relationships with educational leaders. This achievement will see her take these responsibilities even further.

As well as her Women in Games Ambassador status, Susan is also a member of The Girls Network. An organisation which looks to empower girls from the least advantaged communities by pairing them up with a mentor and connecting them to a network of professional female role models.  Susan has been mentoring for two years now and is looking forward to supporting more individuals who want to break into games industry.
