aster’s work experience at skyhook games!
This week we welcomed Wirral Met College student, Aster, to skyhook games hq. As her time with us has now come to an end, let’s find out how she enjoyed her time with us!
How have you found your time at Skyhook, Aster?
Every day has been incredible. Everyone I’ve spoken to has made me feel so welcome, which is what you hope for in a work environment. I have learnt so much about the industry and the tools I can use in it. I have had such an amazing time that I wish I could stay!
How has your time here helped you?
It helped me understand that every role is unique, but still very important for the end product, no matter how significant the step might seem. I also learnt how teamwork & perseverance are necessary in this industry.
Was there any aspect of your learning that you particularly enjoyed?
I really enjoyed the brief I worked on. It catered to my interests and strengths perfectly. I had a lot of fun working on it and it allowed me a lot of creative freedom.
How would you summarise your time here?
It has been remarkable and everything I’ve worked on and learned has been inspiring. At first, I was nervous but I’ve felt so comfortable here that I can’t believe I’m already leaving!
